Near Woudenberg, 10 minutes from Van der Valk Hotel Leusden, is the Pyramid of Austerlitz.

The Pyramid of Austerlitz is situated at the highest point of the Utrechtse Heuvelrug. The monument dates back to the time of Napoleon and is over 200 years old. In 1804, general Marmont had it built by the French-Batavian army as a tribute to his friend and inspiration, Napoleon Bonaparte.

A large playground and a large terrace are available near the Pyramid.
